Margaret Citta @mcitta.bsky.social · 23/09/2026What lawmakers? Sounds like it’s just the same folks who opposed the law from the start, but if it’s anyone hoping to hold elected office, we should make sure they lose their elections. 000
Margaret Citta @mcitta.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Happy first day of voting Minnesota! I’ll be voting today and door knocking tomorrow. We have 47 days. Let’s go. 011

Margaret Citta @mcitta.bsky.social · 09/09/2026Apparently the app we’ve been using for internal notifications of emergencies (e.g. lockdowns) has pivoted to being a gambling app. Nightmare timeline. 001
Margaret Citta @mcitta.bsky.social · 30/08/2026We’ve become fair people. Went twice because after a full day Friday there was still more we wanted to do/see. No regrets. 100
Margaret Citta @mcitta.bsky.social · 11/08/2026I voted early in July, and today I was finally able to do some door knocking. My kids love door knocking (I think it reminds them of Halloween), and I hope they always do. We have to work for what we want. Proud to support Peggy and so many talented progressives in Minnesota. 140
Margaret Citta @mcitta.bsky.social · 04/08/2026National Night Out has become a minor holiday for us. I look forward to it every year. Shutting down the street might be my favorite part, but I’m also just really grateful to have great neighbors, and a beautiful Minnesota summer day to get together. 020
Margaret Citta @mcitta.bsky.social · 30/07/2026The allegations are bad, and so is City Council not being involved in hiring outside counsel. 040
Margaret Citta @mcitta.bsky.social · 16/07/2026My six year old is going to day camp this week. She’s been having a blast. As a former camper and camp counselor, it’s so heartwarming to see her love something I also loved. She comes home tired and happy every day singing camp songs and telling about new friends. Today they’re inside all day. 110

Margaret Citta @mcitta.bsky.social · 07/06/2026Again, I love so much about where we live and this time of year, not least of which is leaving our car in the garage all weekend because everything we want to do we can bus or walk to. 170

Margaret Citta @mcitta.bsky.social · 15/05/2026I suggested a sidewalk tea party to my kids given the inevitable spills, and they decided to make tea out of weeds while I pulled volunteer tree seedlings from our garden. I am so glad to be fully in spring, and so grateful pretending to drink my “tea” was acceptable to my six year old today. 040
Margaret Citta @mcitta.bsky.social · 12/04/2026I won an election within my union and hosted a birthday party for my kindergartener this weekend, and wowee it has been so wonderful and rewarding to talk to so many kind people, but also I am so tired. Really grateful to be in these communities. 030
