a related thing, patch 4.0 or thereabouts changed the threshold at which you earn drastically less xp from 6 levels above recommended to 10 above, but in my own experience with the remaster this threshold seems to have changed again as I got like 3xp when I was about 8 over

They are also melodramatic, extremely anime games set in an alternate-earth where there's a lot more sci-fi tech and most debates seem to be settled by dozens of jets fighting each other. Expect orbital strikes, laser cannons and tanks with railguns accompanied by poetic musings on the folly of war
