I want to be clear about two things regarding my site; 1. It is not vibe coded. My friend who helped is a full stack dev. Just finalizing the UI and features took us 4 months, we started in like February. 2. PokeAPI is not like constantly scraping serebii or bulbapedia or something.

I've been using serebii for 20 years, I think it's a cool website and I love that it still visually represents an era long gone. That being said, I can fully understand the desire for a more streamlined website for when you want to quickly look up information on a Pokémon

My website came about because of criticisms I had from these websites. The goal was never to say “these bad go to mine”. It was always to say these are a frustrating experience so I made these decisions in my site. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to talk about the most popular fan sites UI lol
