Growing on top of a rotted log, a gorgeous cluster of neon yellow slime mold stands in dim light. The stalks of the slime mold have a thin, hair-like, black strand running through the center, but are otherwise a jelly-like substance with serrated edges. Each stalk touches the other with no gaps in between. Each stalk ends with a round, ball-shaped top. The whole cluster stands about 1 cm tall and about an inch long.

Today I got to Yerk my shit at the Yerkes Observatory in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Probably the most elaborate building I've been to out here and an exceptionally cool tour. They even showed us the dome rotating!

The walkway leading to the back entrance of Yerkes y from the parking lot. You can see the main dome (in gray green) along with the massive entryway. Closer inspection will reveal an elaborate facade with many patterns worked into the stone featuring important donors and astrological motifs

I finally finished A Project! Back in November I started making character sprites for all the player characters in my DND campaign. Yesterday I polished the last one up and then added them all to a scene outside the church in their town #aesprite #pixelart #dnd
