I’m sure someone else has pointed this out but the “It’s like having sex and someone hands you a baby” comment erases the 9 months of physical and emotional labor that specifically women (+men and enbys) go through to create children. A labor that is entirely unpaid, not respected in our society,

this should be the question asked at every Democrat press appearance. "what are you personally taking away from the unambiguous success of Mamdani's campaign and the clear fact that his ideas are record-breakingly popular, in terms of how to attract and keep your own voters"

Found Ethan’s critiques insane. the outfits being “too drag” made me ???? Veejay had some nice stuff, but as a whole whelms me as a designer. But also it was cool a villain won and she’s the first trans winner but also I think Ethan had a much better run as a whole??? Weird finale

I think maybe a little? but ultimately kpop idol vibes are very merchandise friendly. I honestly think a big chunk is just that the visual aesthetic of kpop is widely appealing and suit friendly. big scary dragon is harder to sell than pretty girl who sings good

they seem to have confirmed a trilogy of films, with a tv show in talks. so we'll deff be getting 2 more movies at the least. what i need right now, is for them to fast track an artbook !

That’s so fair. While the visuals are astoundingly beautiful, I’m not sure it’s “groundbreaking”. Not every animated movie needs to be so it’s chill. But I agree hailing it as such for its visuals doesn’t add up. The success of its soundtrack however, is groundbreaking

might have to dm ya about htis. but i think a lot of it has to do with the fact both america and korea value a lot of the same beauty ideals. big eyes, small nose/mouth/chin. light skinned and very skinny. imo the designs really work in KDH, even if they aren't revolutionary.

This is basically the part 2 of my last political post. This is why “lesser of two evils” is no longer an option, because the lesser evil is dependent on the greater one to stay in power. There is no actual interest in public servitude, they just want to hold the position. ALL masks have come off.

You have a very specific blend of 90s sailor moon anime meets western comics style. It comes out in both your designs and your color choices. Instantly recognizable, and full of charm. Your drawings look like they have an SFX of sparkle noises when I look at them (if this makes sense)

i went to a demo/talk he did at gallery nucleus a few years ago. maaaajor bad vibes from things he said. stopped supporting him then. lots of talk about his obsession with 15yo idol girls and how he followed them around for a year. talk about how black people shouldn't be in anime. it was...wild
