Friends! I'm running for Secretary of The Animation Guild. Through planning actions alongside you, I'm proud to have been a part of how we've built our power so far. Stoked to be running on the first slate to ever be this open and transparent with our member-driven platform. Read it all online!

I put some quick thoughts together to join in with other fellow negotiators who have put it more succinctly than I have. Here is why I'm voting NO on the TAG agreement this cycle. 🧵

I voted NO! Restricting AI to protect our interests is THE existential priority right now and this is beyond insufficient. It's nothing.

The Animation Guild has a tentative agreement with the AMPTP- AAA WHAT DOES THAT MEAN!!! in order to save myself some time explaining what a ratification vote is/does, I made a complicated and kind of ugly flow chart, to hopefully make things less complicated and ugly for the average person.

This is what 60,000 signatures on a labor petition looks like. It’s what hundreds of animation workers are delivering to one of our big animation bosses tomorrow. We won’t back down until we get a fair contract to save our jobs.

Still building this one (Starter Packs take elbow grease!) but if you’re looking for folks with INCREDIBLE credits in #Animation across both #Writing and #Storyboarding, check out this #StarterPack! (With some of your 839 NegCom thrown in, for good measure!) #AnimationSky go.bsky.app/J8SthMN
