If true, this is unbelievable. Ruling out the investigation of biases means destroying a wide variety of computational social science-, anthropological and psychological research science but also key research on AI and safety. This is highly dangerous for science.

#Grant secured! 🎉 As PI (myself) and co-PI (Giuseppe Alessandro Veltri), our COGNOSCO project #won 100.000 EUR from the Call for Research at UniTN (success rate:5%). COGNOSCO will investigate associative knowledge in Large Language Models (e.g. #ChatGPT's) and their influence over humans.
