Proud to have been part of the team that computationally analyzed the New York Times' biased coverage of Israel and Palestine. This is part of a broader effort by Writers Against the War On Gaza, who released today a tour-de-force exposé of NYT: newyorkwarcrimes.com
Since Oct 7th, NYT reported on antisemitism 5 times more often than on IslamophobiaThe Times mentioned Israel and Israelis more often than others in their coverage each week since October 7th
... while the death toll in Gaza surpassed 25 times the Israeli death toll as of MarchTimes coverage of the war on Gaza quoted both Israeli and American sources more often than Palestinian onesThe Times used passive voice to describe Palestinians 1.7 times more often than when describing Israelis
