We are looking at a slightly beaten up and aged leather book witt broken hasps. We are looking at the same leather bound book from the side showing the yellow, aged and worn pages. Remnants of two leather hasps and their fixings can still be seen.

I went the NHS emergency room in London over the weekend, it was free. Free to anyone. I'd have been charged only if I was admitted to the hospital. A cart in the waiting room went by me with some nice sandwiches, and I chose one. Before I could try to pay, the cart moved on. Sandwich also free.

A young star cluster filled with many stars that display the Webb Telescope’s unique eight-pronged diffraction pattern. At its center is a yellow star, which sports the largest diffraction pattern. To the left of the star, there is a region filled with yellow dust and gas that extends from the star to the left border. This yellow region extends from the bottom, covering about two-thirds of the image. The yellow region has several blue stars of different sizes embedded within. The top third, which lies outside of the yellow region, holds a few bright protostars, within dense gray gas. Those stars illuminate the gas, making it appear blue. A few red outflows from other protostars are visible above this grayish-blue region. To the right of the central star, there is a clumpy, flame-like plume of red dust and gas with protostars that emit a soft white light within. The plume is surrounded by more dense gray gas and dust. Look, this is bad. Yes. But the Trump admin sent six (6) people to Maricopa and Pima. Where, by my count, there are 404 polling places, spread across 18,000 square miles (each county is ~9k sq mi). What they want is the FEAR to discourage the voting they can't actually prevent.

I am struck that the political theory of MAGA in Trump 2.0 is the GOP can win without sound or moral government if everyone throws red meat to the cameras as the occasional bribe. You see it with Trump, Patel, Hegseth, all of them. Anyway, Trump's approval is at, like, -23, so...no luck on that.
