The full Supermoon imaged 1 hour & 39 minutes after full. Although it is possible to see that the Moon has passed full, it is quite difficult. The evidence is along the terminator, which lies along the bottom edge and lower right quadrant, where craters may be seen on close inspection. Overall, the Moon looks very flat and is lacking in detail.

Mare Crissum, a sea of solidified lava, which looks like a large crab with two eyes, can be seen on the right, about 10° above horizontal. The Moon's face appears to have rotated slightly in the 45 minutes from the first image and Mare Crissum is now slightly lower. This apparent movement is due to the rotation of the Earth, not the Moon. The Moon, just past full, in a deep blue sky as dawn has now arrived.
