Pakistan's endangered Indus River dolphin population has grown to nearly 2,000 individuals, prompting the creation of a new 400-km protected corridor. Safeguarding the species long-term will require modified barrage operations and community-led sustainable fishing. Fellow Muhammad Talal reports.

This Long-tailed Blue is looking very warn and tired which is not surprising really as he has been on patrol for at least two weeks and has mated with at least three different females. He was desperately trying to find nectar today and sadly I think his days are numbered.
