Saw Acaster do a gig at a tiny local venue a few years ago and he was lovely. Hung around out the front whilst the other acts were onstage chatting to folks. Some young kid asked him for advice on getting into comedy and he talked to them for ages. Seemed genuinely nice.

I remember someone on that site writing a long piece in the comments about how Adric had been introduced by misogynistic writers to shackle Romana, and punish her for being so liberated by saddling her with a child. Entertainingly unhinged.

Beautiful day for a walk around Faversham Creek and the Marshes today.

A picture of an abandoned boat overgrown with flora at the side of a muddy Faversham Creek. Lovely blue sky with flat bottomed clouds.

In fact I was so upset by the premise of Terror of the Zygons (the fact that anyone might be a shape-shifting alien, even my mum) that after viewing it I was too scared to go to the toilet that night and had to piss in a plastic toy boat that I hid under my bed.

My Doctor Who recurring nightmares from my youth were being trapped in a dark tunnel and suffocated by Erato from The Creature From The Pit, and numerous dreams of friends and family being replaced by lookalikes à la Terror of the Zygons.

Wonderful tune. Brilliant band. I was lucky to see them in Cardiff this year. It’s so nice that they’re back for a bit.

That’s what’s so depressing about it. It’s a lot of good will and attention time wasted on a stupid fake “memory”. You’d all be first into the pods.

Someone just said on the radio re Burnham’s speech “I’m surprised to hear him follow through” which has childishly amused me for the afternoon.

I was sat up, highly refreshed, playing GTA demo on my PS1 with a friend. Saw news of the crash when I turned the game off and we sat up watching the news unfold. Told my gf when I finally crawled into bed and she thought I was joking and told me off. Felt slightly dirty about the whole thing.

I don’t think you know what you’re talking about tbf. Canterbury’s councillors are Labour and Lib Dem 🤷🏻‍♂️

Why? We voted Lab/Lib Dem. This is such a weird thread.

Weird seeing people on here wishing ill of Canterbury folk who elected Labour and Lib Dem in the last County Council Elections. Thanks Otto.

I can’t help wondering how many bikers the Dalek would be able to take out before they overpowered it? #DoctorWho

Great song about Peter getting his mojo back. Also one of two hit eighties’ singles to be inspired by Rosanna Arquette.
