What a week! I was only elected as @bhgreens.bsky.social councillor for #QueensPark #Brighton&Hove last Fri & I've already: * Met dog-owners at #BarkInThePark * Volunteered at junior #ParkRun * Stopped #BT putting in a pole narrowing the pavement. & now I'm off to deliver my maiden speech! 💚

As a transport planner, I know that clear pavements are crucial for #Disabled people to walk & wheel easily. So why have @brighton-hove.gov.uk put this communal bin over tactile paving? I've been asking #BHCC for years to get basic accessibility right - electing me will help make that happen!

Small businesses are feeling the squeeze whilst large banks are raking in obscene profits. It's time for windfall tax on big bank profits to end rip-off Britain.
