Elon Musk is unambiguously calling for a violent race war. This is far from unprecedented. The Rwandan Genocide was stoked and enabled by Felicien Kabuga, the wealthy owner of the RTLM radio station that helped coordinate the genocide and used euphemisms like "go to work" to signal attacks.
Two separate screenshots in boxes.

The first is a screenshot of tweets from Elon Musk reposting "Do not make peace with evil. Destroy it." and "That's what it has come to" while quote-tweeting "Elon Musk was always right: You either fight back or you die."

The second box is a text from an Al Jazeera article. It reads:
Kabuga, once one of the wealthiest men in Rwanda, was the co-founder and funder of Radio Television Libre des Mille Collines (RTLM), a station established in 1993 that regularly called Tutsis “cockroaches” and encouraged people to “cut down the tall trees”, in reference to Tutsis. Once the genocide started, the station broadcast the names of people to be killed and information about where they could be found.

Roberts majority, citing Callais, throws out lower court’s 571-page finding that AL’s 2023 maps intentionally discriminated against Black voters. Sotomayor, with Kagan and Jackson, dissents bc Alito et al said intentional discrimination claims survive Callais www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/25p...
JUSTICE SOTOMAYOR, with whom JUSTICE KAGAN and
JUSTICE JACKSON join, dissenting.
Today, the Court vacates a District Court order enjoining Alabama's 2023 Redistricting Plan and remands for reconsideration in light of the Court's new interpretation of §2 of the Voting Rights Act in Louisiana v. Callais, 608 U. S.
(2026). There is no reason to do so. In addition to holding that Alabama's 2023 Redistricting Plan violates §2, the District Court held, in one of the three cases before this Court, that Alabama violated the Fourteenth Amendment by intentionally diluting the votes of Black voters in Alabama.
That constitutional finding of intentional discrimination is independent of, and unaffected by, any of the legal issues discussed in Callais. Vacatur is thus inappropriate and will cause only confusion as Alabamians begin to vote in the elections scheduled for next week. I respectfully dissent.

Understandable concern about not just the midterms but what comes next, seating the House on Jan 3. It's not as simple as Johnson could refuse members. But there is real potential for mischief or worse. Callais has appreciably increased the danger. So here's what they might try, and how to fight it:

After Trump said the WHCD shooting was more proof of the need for the White House ballroom, DOJ doubled down in a rather dystopian way, stating that Trump "will no longer need to venture beyond the safety of the White House perimeter" for big gatherings if it's built. www.lawdork.com/p/doj-ballro...
In a letter posted online by Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche on Sunday, the administration doubled down — and apparently envisions and hopes for a United States where Trump and future presidents “no longer need to venture beyond the safety of the White House perimeter to attend large gatherings.“

// Last night, there was another attempt on President Trump's life. This time, the shooter targeted President Trump at the Washington Hilton, the only ballroom in Washington, D.C. suitable to host large gatherings for the President, where another shooter targeted President Reagan 45 years ago. As history proves, that venue is demonstrably unsafe for the President of the United States because its size presents extraordinary security challenges for the Secret Service.
Yesterday's assassination attempt on President Trump proves, yet again, that the White House ballroom is essential for the safety and security of the President, his family, his cabinet, and his staff. When the White House ballroom is complete, President Trump and his successors will no longer need to venture beyond the safety of the White House perimeter to attend large gatherings at the Washington Hilton ballroom. The White House ballroom will ensure the safety and security of the President for decades to come and prevent future assassination attempts on the President at the Washington Hilton. //

Yes, it is reported that the suspected shooter, “in a missive sent to family members moments before the attack,“ per The Washington Post, described an aim of killing members of the Trump administration. Yes, it is also true that, outside of the same hotel in 1981, then-President Reagan was shot by John Hinkley. But to say that the answer is building a White House from which the president never needs to leave does not inspire confidence either in the future of American democracy or the plans of this administration, given their track record.
