It's probably good that we killed the talk show interview in favor of random dorks asking celebrities what their favorite video game is followed by a crash zoom into the celebrity going "ooooooohoho holy FUCK you did NOT just ask me that, that's the HARDEST fuckING question I've EVER fucking gotten"

If instead of doing that weird speech about a man's duty to protect his family or whatever, he had just said, "Chris Rock is annoying as fuck, isn't he," Will Smith would have become the 47th president of the United States.

I love to quickly mass bookmark THR stories and then weeks later open them to find no words, just one low-res picture of Martin Scorsese talking to his producer.
THR story titled "Graham King, Martin Scorsese - On Set of Departed - 2006"

Included is just one picture of Marty and GK talking at the bar set from The Departed. Also there's a Rolex ad on the side.

In the last two months, my Apple Music app has pretty much fully broken. Half the songs on my playlists (old and new) are grayed out, I go to play an album—whether it's in my library or not—and it's either already grayed out or it won't begin playing and then it's grayed out.

Oh, Leo.
(Los Angeles Times, December 12, 2004)

That was one facet of his character that DiCaprio wanted to make sure got into the biopic of Hughes’ life, directed by the revered Martin Scorsese. DiCaprio even added an improvised scene in which Hughes picks up a cigarette girl at a nightclub with the kind of callow, but not uncharming, droit du seigneur taken by the young, the handsome and the exceedingly rich.

“I wanted to make it abundantly clear that he was not just a ladies’ man, but the fearless ladies’ man. He was the Casanova, the swashbuckler of the 20th century, unmatched, unrivaled. Girl, you know it’s true!” DiCaprio says, laughing. He’s been picking desultorily at a chopped salad at Dan Tana’s, the unpretentious Italian joint that happens to be a Hollywood stalwart, when he suddenly perks up. “There are people that are in his category, but no one matches up to Howard Hughes. It’s the quality of the women, and the quantity.”

He sounds almost awestruck.

“It awes any man,” he clarifies. “He had girls stashed away in bungalows in Bel-Air. He had every gorgeous starlet, and if he wasn’t with her, he’d probably rejected [her].” He leans back to theatrically dispense a can-you-believe-it fact, hair falling across his forehead. “The rumor was that he rejected Marilyn Monroe. Didn’t like her feet.”

Shigeru Miyamoto has claimed that Toad is his least favorite character in Mario Kart. Despite this, in all footage of him playing Mario Kart 8, he picked Toad every time. Whether he was joking or specifically picking a character he hates to challenge himself is unknown.
I have an important question. Nintendo has also just released Mariokart 7 for the 3DS. In every iteration of Mariokart, I've always preferred to play as Toad. Who's your favorite character?
That's the most challenging question! I'm sorry that I cannot come up with an interesting answer. Somehow, it's habit to me, but I play with Mario. He's a very balanced character.
Who's your least favorite character?
Toad. [Laughs]
My favorite character is your least favorite character?
I understand that he has some popularity. Somehow.
In a 2012 interview with Entertainment Weekly, Shigeru Miyamoto has claimed Toad is his least favorite Mario Kart character.
In December 2014, Shigeru Miyamoto and Bill Trinen played Mario Kart 8 against YouTuber Rosanna Pansino. Miyamoto picked Toad.
Also in December 2014, Shigeru Miyamoto and Bill Trinen played Mario Kart 8 against YouTuber iJustine. Miyamoto picked Toad again.
Finally, in January 2015, the two played Mario Kart 8 against YouTube group Smosh Games. Miyamoto picked Toad again.
Whether Miyamoto simply had an enormous change of heart about Toad in the intervening 2 years, or whether he was picking his least favorite to challenge or punish himself, is unknown.
