As a kid, I remember our bookshelf lined with the yellow spines of National Geographic magazine. I loved flipping through the pages and learning about animals, medical discoveries, and wonders of the natural world. Who would've guessed that 30 years later, I'd read my own words published by them! 🟨

Maybe it's unfounded optimism, but in a job market full of instability, I'm feeling refreshed and embracing the changes that 2026 had in store for me... I lost a full-time job but gained independence and freedom to pursue my own interests. (3/5)

ASM did a spotlight article on me last February and it has also been taken down as “under review”. Other spotlight articles are still up so not sure how else to interpret this besides the obvious. It feels pretty crappy to have been singled out and I won’t be engaging with them in the future.
