I try not to sound hysterical or absurdist when writing about what people might see as small beans or unimportant policy to them. Unfortunately some of those things have far reaching consequences and we as people aren’t great at seeing them right away! It’s hard to see evil when it feels banal.

A while ago, Twitch rolled out new content classification guidelines that when enabled also surfaces to advertisers as part of how they want their ads to run across channels. Glad to know they're outsourcing potential discrimination onto AI so Twitch doesn't have to be the one to do it.
