#FFXIVWrite2026 Day 15: Prodigy Neyuni wishes to thank Oblivion for their help in sending her research for psychonekrosis. Cora is more than happy to oblige. 🐈 archiveofourown.org/works/92712006 #FFXIVWrite #FFXIVFanfic

“You have talent, Neyuni, but you still lack experience. You will learn, in time. Come to think of it, you’re very similar to someone else I know. Do you remember when you navigated the Arcadion system? He was the one who helped you keep the connection open.”

Neyuni’s expression turned surprised, then excited. “Oh him! May I please say my thanks to him too?”

“Of course. Come with me, I think Gulool Ja is in the workshop, tinkering away with something.” She rose up, then motioned for Neyuni to follow her through to the door at the back of the room.

She eagerly followed, with the rest of them not far behind.

#FFXIVWrite2026 Day 16: Steel On the side table lay the snake earring that the President usually wore. Curious then that he had left it behind. (Mature, implied BDSM dynamic) 🐍 archiveofourown.org/works/92884081 #FFXIVWrite #FFXIVFanfic #CrownOfArcadia

Excerpt from "Priceless":

If he’d looked out he’d see the breadth of Solution Nine sprawled below him, but he didn’t. Instead his eyes were drawn to the side table next to the President’s bed.

On it lay the snake earring that he usually wore. Curious then that he had left it behind; the President would never forget such an important part of his outfit. Drawn to the glint of metal, Kunzite sat on the bed and reached for the jewellery, feeling the weight and the coldness of it on his palm.

#FFXIVWrite2026 Day 17: Fret In approximately ten minutes the Steel Rattlesnake would make his debut at the Arcadion, and his nerves were close to fraying under the pressure. 🪽archiveofourown.org/works/92953321 #FFXIVWrite #FFXIVFanfic

Excerpt from "Nerves":

“You do know what a heel is, right?” She asked with her arms crossed.

The President, of course, had explained it all to him. “A villain, a rule breaker, antagonist to your protagonist,” he answered and she nodded.

“Then you need to put your all into it. Strike me when I least expect, strike from behind, use your strength to play dirty.”

Kunzite fretted with his leather gauntlet, suddenly feeling very out of place. Being tasked with exploring the strength of feral soul was one thing, but playfighting—in a villain role, no less—was a skill unknown to him. His prowess had made him an one man killing machine out in the Thunderyards, an outcast with the hunters; did the President make a mistake in offering him this job?

#FFXIVWrite2026 Day 18: Reason Everkeep held no love for him so Arkose trained, and counted down the days until he could leave it all behind. ⚡️ archiveofourown.org/works/93505206 #FFXIVWrite #FFXIVFanfic

Excerpt from ‘Levinstruck’ by Velnica:

First there was the chase.

A sentry had spotted his little form sneaking out of Everkeep's pipework, all skinny and grey and fast as a sewer rat. Arkose took off in a panic, dodging boulders left and right in the levin-scarred plain. He didn't care where he was heading, he just needed to be away.

Second came the lightning.

It was blinding, and he would never forget how it seared his entire vision. It was less staring at a bright billboard and more drowning in a vat of pure light, accented by the purple and yellow sparks that drifted slowly downwards like spent fireworks from the disintegrating sentry who was still clinging onto his wrist.

Third came the pain.

Arkose screamed, his little voice barely audible in the thundering crack that followed. He was thrown backwards and landed on the dirt with enough force to knock all the burning air out of his lungs.

#FFXIVWrite2026 Day 29: Layer When Cora came to, he was alone on the rough golden sands on an island somewhere in the Ruby Sea. 🪸 ellipsus.com/read/4VmjLU0... #FFXIVWrite #FFXIVFanfic #OC:Cora

He knew sometime had passed, but how long exactly, he wasn’t sure. There was the beginning of a stubble on his chin, and his nails had grown longer than he usually trimmed them to. His hair had taken on an aqua sheen that he didn’t remember ever getting. Besides, the kimono he was wearing was far more elaborate than the one he had; who then had given it to him?

No matter, he had to find help and return to Crick as soon as he could. Knowing that he was made an involuntary sacrifice stung, even if deep down he knew his worth was nothing beyond a willing sex slave during his heat. Still, stabbing a proverbial dagger on another Confederate pirate’s back was high treason, and Rasho-jisan would want to hear about it, salacious details be damned. He’d figure out what had happened to himself later, and focus first on the fact that he’d somehow survived.

🎆🏮 Moonfire Faire with the lalafell squad #ffxiv #oc-elu

Digital illustration of my Final Fantasy 14 lalafell with Tataru and Krile on either side as they stroll through a summer festival eating snacks and having fun. My lala is short with dark freckled skin, green eyes, and shoulder-length dark brown hair, dressing in shorts with a yellow crop top and long green haori. They hold a taiyaki in one hand, are being fed a spoonful of shaved ice by Krile, as a sparrow proudly holds a snack while seated ontop of their head. Krile is dressed in a pretty yellow dress with white lace trim and smiles sweetly. Tataru is dressed in a pink kimono with green underlayer, with pink flowers in her hair, and is linking arms with my lalafell on the other side and wielding a skewer of takoyaki as she points forwards with a determined expression. Fireworks and lanterns frame the lively night scene.

TRIAD 🔥 [ artwork by @doong-24.bsky.social ] #FeralEchoes #ArtForVel

An artwork by Doong_24 of Cora (a tan-skinned purple-haired Elezen), Seiryu (a grey-skinned Elezen with long black hair) and Kunzite (The Tyrant, a tall tan-skinned Elezen with silver hair). Seiryu is in the front, looking pristine and beautiful in his gold flower cheongsam. Draped on his shoulders is Kunzite's silver coat, covering him from dirt. Behind him is Cora wearing a black suit with golden dragon embroidery on the sleeves and holding a gun, he's got a cocky smile on his face. In the back is Kunzite, bruised and battered but victorious; he is putting on a new clean white shirt, proudly showing his toned abs and piercings.

An older Kunzite (The Tyrant), with a little extra wrinkles on his face, sweeping back his long wavy silver rockstar hair. He's a tan-skinned Elezen with lilac eyes, wearing gunmetal black and white jacket with metal studs and red pants with white leather straps. On his left hand is a cheeky wedding ring.

In case this is helpful for anyone else, I tried to get a list together of all the limited time events that are running (or about to run) in FFXIV right now. Jeez, that's a lot. 😵‍💫

Kit (B'alith):

I think this is the sequencing of what's currently running or about to run:
Yo-kai Watch: Aug 4 - Oct 5
Mogtomes: Sep 9 - Oct 19
FF15 crossover: Sep 24 - Oct 13
Fall Guys: Oct 7 - Oct 27
(and then somewhere in there will be All Saints' Wake, too)

It's a bright sunny day in Tuliyollal. Kunzite (The Tyrant), Cora and Seiryu are wearing their relaxed Turali vacation outfits. They are sitting on a stone ledge next to a lush green park, hugging each other in a line. Tyrian their baby behemoth plops down next to them with a happy grin, and Mimi the snake shiki is hitching a ride on Kunzite's arm. The mood is bright and happy.

Obligatory not a Viera, but if Cora outlives Seiryu, he would keep going for a little bit before settling down to take over Seiryu's duties as a protector. It's a scenario that neither of them expect will happen, but death can come unexpectedly so all they can do is try to move on. #StormSong
