The solution isn't obvious. The end game is to adhere to DORA, CoARA, etc... But the committees making hiring decisions are mostly treading water to understand the papers' basic premise and rarely expert enough to critique it robustly. We need to play 4D chess here: publish with non-profits. 4/n

Horrible idea. AI will regress all grants towards the mean since AI is trained to produce the average output. Grants require expertise that ignores bad literature and rejects author assertions if false. no AI review I've seen has ever challenged the author's assertions as fundamentally flawed.

Over a million children have been studied in every valid, ethical experimental design scientists can think of.
