It’s so laughably naive for anyone to say genAI can be used “ethically“. The cat is already out of the bag, the models are already trained on stolen work. Even if you could build viable models on only rights-free work there would still be the issue of energy use, inaccurate output, etc. Be for real.

Thanks for doing maintenance on the ONE DAY I had to get the car. I tried this morning, got the fate to pop, but the final NPC had despawned from the reset by the time I got the servers to load Ul'dah. PLEASE mark your events appropriately going forward and take maintenance into account.

Whelp, logged in, started doing the quest, got the fate to pop, and tried to get back to Ul'dah in time to finish. Sadly, the fate popped 3 minutes before the 11am reset, and the final NPC was not there. So no car for me. Thank #ffxiv for doing maintenance on the one day I had to get the car!
