My son was DEEP in the sandbox when I picked him up from afterschool. Teacher remarked that I might want to clean him up before picture day tomorrow. I joked that I "will definitely hose him off." Another kid in the sandbox was HORRIFIED. For the record I made him (my kid) take a hot shower 😂

So my ears are randomly swelling and I *hate* going to the doctor, so yes I scrounged up some sterile needles from my IVF days and drained my right ear (couldn't get anything on the left). It feels SO MUCH BETTER. Obviously still need to see a doc but... phew!

Not only is getting my septic pumped the *lamest* adult expense ever, but of course the previous owners built a deck over the access point. I had to rip the lattice out so the pump guy can get to it. So I can pay hundreds of dollars to continue using the plumbing in my home.
