Hell yeah! It was a blast, so I definitely plan on competing in the beginner brackets moving forward!

Out 0-2 in my first Guilty Gear Strive tourney. It was the BAN Reverse Mains one, so I didn’t get to play my Brisket, just get beat up by her lol. Got to give Ky and Nago a try, and found them pretty fun (even if I have no idea what they do :3)! I also took a round in set 1 and a game in set 2!

It feels like my focuses in gaming are sort of at a crossroads right now, and it’s sort of overwhelming. Like, I don’t fully know where it is I’m going with it or how things will play out, and it’s honestly a little scary.

At some point we also have to deal with the fact that one of the two parties is openly hostile to democracy. If you have to win big every election or else the country falls into despotism we're all just playing Russian roulette every few years

Anything but to actually play a video game nowadays. Don't get this obsession to cheat to get to the end the fastest way positive. Why get into playing video games if you just want to cheat to get to the end of the game as fast as possible, it sounds miserable.

SRC changed their terms of use yesterday, and released a news post with an FAQ. They make it sound like not a big deal. It's a big deal. The Creative Commons licence is gone. They claim ownership over the data now. Thread about what this means, and what we can do about it 🧵

Just watched the KimiShinu finale. I have so many thoughts on the series that I’ll be writing up a review style post once I’m done moving, but I’ll say now that I genuinely think that was the best anime I’ve ever seen and of the decade so far. I cried at 4 episodes. I’ll be getting the manga soon XD

Every Tuesday this past anime season I’ve thought “it’s okay, anime can’t hurt me.” I’ll be watching the I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day finale later, and from the teasers I’ve seen (and with how every week prior has gone of this show), anime can and very much will hurt me. It’s peak tho XD

If anyone tries to convince me that Bridget vs Unika ISN'T the most fun matchup in GGS, I'm going to assume that they're lying to me. Played against two Unika players in ranked today, won one lost one, both 2-1, and those were the most fun I've had with the game. Yuri makes everything better XD

Had a pretty snazzy run with Bridget in a Strive ranked match today that I was proud of! Also the Bo3 vs that Unika player was definitely the most fun match I've had so far, to the point that I'm honestly really glad I dropped game 1 so it would go to 3 lol
