Part of my bike luggage rag carrying one bike bags just snapped clean off >.< Looks like i also lost a screw for the rag. Luckily I could grab a screw from another part of the bike, and the bag got another point it can snap on. But had to do some road side repairs 😅

#Crochet #3DPrinting My partner wanted me to crochet another handle for our Ortlieb Pannier, to replace the one that snapped off.

The beginnings of a crochet pannier handle, attached to a 3D-printed washer via 4 extension holes that have been added to the washer.

The crochet is purple/blue/cyan/magenta tie-dyed cotton thread, started as 4 crochet loops plus 4 chains, turned into a loop of 8 that gradually gets smaller down to a loop of 4-ish.

I plan to continue the 4-ish loop for most of the handle, then expand again and attach to another washer on the other side.

Rather silly week, all in all, but I got a good ride in so at least there’s that.

A bike stands on fishing pier at night. It’s dark (there’s a bit of sky glow from light pollution), and the bike is aggressively lit with bright headlight in the front and bright taillight in the back.
