Didn't expect to be bawling the last 15 minutes of the season 4 finale of Ted Lasso because so many words and situations weigh so heavily on me. Brett Goldstein telling me that I deserve nice things to happen to me broke me. I need that reiterated to me because my brain no one longer accepts it.

I can't believe I have neighbors not against the one commercial business in our neighborhood tearing down the forest behind our house that's been labeled a Chesapeake Bay Critical Area. At least TWO houses are extremely racist. And earlier today I watched a commercial truck blow through a stop sign.

Gas was $4.39 at one place. Can't get a bag of regular Doritos for under $5. A large box of Life cereal is $6.49. I shop for groceries at at least 7 different stores to get the best deals. I clip all the online coupons. This is not sustainable.

I needed two cans of creamed condensed soup for an easy casserole-like meal. I bought the STORE BRAND and they were $1.79 each. EACH. I should be able to get at least two cans for that one price. ONE DOLLAR AND SEVENTY-NINE CENTS FOR ONE CAN OF STORE BRAND CONDENSED SOUP.

I just wanted to buy an umbrella for my back yard. And for some reason (money probably), it seems impossible to get one that already has a base. Not to attach to a table. Not to put in the sand. Just an umbrella that stands on its own. I instead opted for a tent I could sit in. #thankscapitalism

There is no justice. Nothing is fair. We're taught as kids if you do a good thing, you get rewarded. You do a bad thing you get punished. That philosophy is NOT true in the world we live in. Nothing is promised. We're conditioned and set up for failure. Expectations are set that will never be met.

Something just happened tonight that has never happened. Goose attacked me. Twice. Drawing blood where his claws grabbed me. I can only think the clothes I was wearing had a scent on them from when I was outside earlier that he didn't like. The last thing I need is something more wrong with Goose.
