NEW: Israel has targeted and killed 5 journalists since March 28, including one with a double-tap strike. They've practically made it military policy to eliminate reporters, yet Canadian news media barely even reports it, let alone condemns Israel. I go into the ongoing tactic this week:

The pundit and columnist class meltdown from folks who have never supported the NDP honestly suggests to me that the NDP is doing something significant that’s worth paying attention to. Those who defend power tend to screech the loudest when power is genuinely threatened.

Tragedies like this highlight #OttCity’s refusal to take even small measures to increase street safety. For example: last month, Council received a @en.ottawa.ca staff report claiming that allowing right turns on red is somehow *safer* for pedestrians. #VisionZero www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

The RCMP’s "Native extremism program" is a jaw-dropping betrayal. Wiretaps & secret dossiers were used to target leaders fighting for their rights—not security threats. I’m calling on the Public Safety Minister to release all files & hold public hearings. Accountability now. ⬇️

Why is Doug Ford changing OSAP? It's simple: he is trying to balance the post-secondary books on the backs of low and middle income students and their families. His changes to OSAP will cost students up to $3500 more per year in debt. We deserve affordable education.
