I always found the concept of free speech to be odd. Where I come from the emphasis is on _good_ speech, so whenever I see annoying and down right hurtful speech I ask myself why it’s allowed in the first place. Sometimes being nice invites the wrong kinds of people into your community

One thing I don't think I see talked about enough is how AI services like Claude Code are psychologically similar to gambling. When you spend tokens you have a chance of a good result, with lots of smaller good results along the way to keep you hooked. No wonder some people say they're "addicted" 😬
