Why do they call it Pyrowave. “…geared for LAN usage with at least Gigabit Ethernet…” Oh

I always found the concept of free speech to be odd. Where I come from the emphasis is on _good_ speech, so whenever I see annoying and down right hurtful speech I ask myself why it’s allowed in the first place. Sometimes being nice invites the wrong kinds of people into your community

A mu social feature that all clients need imo. Also, maybe a long press on links shows this popup again or automatically picks the other option to the one you selected before

You've been missing out! The algo curates some very magical moments on the TL like seeing a confusing post referencing something niche and then a few posts later, it shows you the post that gives context.

Now you can opt out of having your posts shown to non-followers in the Discover feed. We know not everyone wants to go viral. Sometimes you're just posting for your followers. This is one of a few updates we're working on to give you more control over your experience and help you find your people.

Instructional image titled "Hide your posts from non-followers in Discover" accompanied by a screenshot of the "privacy and security" options from the Bluesky settings menu. "Ask apps to hide my posts from algorithmic recommendations" is toggled to the "on" state.

Death to Substack? Yes, its time. No more excuses 🫵🏽 We've been working on migration tools for the last couple months. Promising a few of you it's coming "any day now". Today is that day 🥳🥂 Export your content from Substack, Ghost, Pika or Buttondown and automatically import it into Offprint.

We need everyone to wake up to how fragile our shared commons are. We can't wait until we drown in security incidents and more projects close down, using them as excuses. If you're in a position to help (every company is), check who you depend on and need support (everyone), and fund them.
