The Urban Institute’s Education Data Portal offers users the ability to view data endpoints and select summary endpoints directly in their web browser. Users can access this application programming interface (API) by directly hitting a URL endpoint or by using Stata or R. All data are returned in JSON format and can be viewed directly in a web browser.

GA passed a $6,500/student/year voucher this year for tuition, tutoring, some transportation, or occupational, speech, behavioral, or physical therapy. Up to 1% of the state education formula (QBE) can be spent. Newly issued program rules got me interested but I’m left with more ?s.

Woohoo for kids eating! Here here for measures of poverty that serve families without burdening them. As someone who got $1+ billion out to kids during pandemic EBT and only served in that role due to lack of data integration, I can say there is plenty of room for growth here.
