An honor to return for my third Indo-Pacific Chiefs of Defense Conference and chair the closed-door US-ASEAN multilateral. Notable this year was the first in-person meeting between the Commander of US Pacific Command and China's Eastern Theater Commander, responsible for operations around Taiwan.
