Spent the last two days stressed out about my computer though. It didn't do any good, all the worrying. The stress. My backup attempt failed partway, but I was able to copy a bunch of stuff in the recovery mode terminal. I guess I'm feeling resigned, only way forward is forward. ...lol

(Stressed groan) the computer I use for editing is unusable now. I'd repair it, but it's an iMac so it's a pain to actually repair. I wasn't planning to have to replace a hard drive this year... terrible timing. :( But I have options and my problems can be fixed, I'm grateful for that at least.
