I actually have a pair of these PS4 Hori Fightstick minis. Both of them are wrapped in decals. $60 for decorations that sometimes can be used to game. Not as good as my HRAP3s that I still use, but prettier.

PS5 is pretty divisive especially in particular circles. It was great when it was $500 for two controllers and a game. Now it’s… ok? It’s now a coop machine. Diablo 4 and Monster Hunter Wilds crossplay was great. I’m interested in PC gyro controls but I haven’t had time to dig into it yet.

I really like 3rd party dual analog controllers too. I have these 8bitdo out, but I also have a Gamesir G8+ to pair with streaming on my phone and iPad Mini. Streaming in home is pretty great from PS5 or Steamlink - I’ve had success with Parsec too. Most of my streaming is now on a ROG Ally.

Tell me about your game controllers. I recently got these two m30 six button controllers and they’re a dream. I wish there were more games to play with them but Absolum and Katana Zero have been great. Six button fighting games are more accessible to non joystick players too

The oldest audio TTRPG Actual Plays predate large corporate ad-based file hosting. The oldest I know of had to shut down their original site & slowly port to Patreon hosting because bot activity made maintenance costs unsustainable.

Classes, Clubs, and Activities - this is kind of like multidimensional Blades in the Dark project progression. Stakes are low, you progress on these once or twice a day, and they conflict with DUNGEON DIVING. Mark tallies here, maybe branch, and then get items, skills, or bigger quest progression.

Personal Info - I had a hard time with this one. Gamey dungeon crawlery players kind of ignore this. So I decided on a quick single roll (Blood Type) to determine personality for any NPCs, PCs, etc. Guardian and Homeroom teacher can use the Blood Type roll and also hook into quests.

Items & Skills are really the same thing stored in different places. They're sources of player powers, rewards for quests, achievements, etc. You get them from finishing Classes, Clubs, Activities

The Hit Track and Stats all play with the Pocket Die. Lots of jargon so - Hit Track - dynamic AC. Better Pocket higher AC. But Pocket is used to turn fails into successes. So it's always a tradeoff. - Stats - Ability Points are spent to reroll, protecting your Pocket. But you have to spend wisely

Character creation and the character sheet are pretty well intertwined. I like to think of it as a few subsections - Hit Track - unique mechanic - Stats - character differentiation - Items & Skills - player powers - Personal Info - role play and story hooks - Classes etc - project & quest tracking
