That's the war that ended more than 80 years ago. Anyone who can remember it well is knocking on the door of 90. Just because Farage remembers being in the first wave to land on Sword beach doesn't mean he wasn't born in 1964.

Have they (and I know this is radical) tried not being chippy misogynists who view all relationships as a zero-sum game they are determined to win and who are obsessively aware of all their flaws apart from the ones that are actually sending people running?

Times like this I really wish there was a hell so I could be sure these people will suffer consequences for their monstrous actions. Even after all they've done already, this is still shocking.

This would also be good politically. Make Farage et al fight to defend every millimetre of the ground that has been ceded to them. Otherwise they just move on to the next project of leaving the ECHR, privatising the NHS, and bringing back the death penalty.

Solidarity. Let them have endless conversations between Goodwin and Jenrick over who's allowed to be English and see how the audience likes that. Endless wittering from unsettling, Twitter-poisoned obsessives is exactly what this 'debate' deserves.

That's unfair. It's also unsurpassed at allowing people to vibe code 'enterprise software' that's full of security holes and that no one will be able to maintain or develop at any point during its projected lifetime.

People who complain about 'overdiagnosis' are the exact same ones who complain if anyone gets any kind of help without first having a diagnosis of something. Their real issue is that people are not left to struggle if they need help with something.

With great consistency, people who prefer authoritarianism to democracy envision themselves in charge. Could be them personally, could be vicarious, but they're always the boot, not the face. It's basically a way to say everyone should shut up and accept that we're doing my preferences, not theirs.

It also proves that there's still a section of the left that trafficks in conspiracy theories, and as all conspiracy theories have their origins in anti-semitism from the European Middle Ages, as they develop they all bend inexorably towards their anti-semitic origins.

This is what Labour have been doing under both Starmer and Burnham - ducking the truly difficult questions and pretending that doing the anti-migrant stuff causes them pain, when actually they get an illicit thrill out of it. They're avoidant and they fail for that reason above all.

I don't care who someone is, it's not possible to do £150m worth of damage to someone's reputation even if you say the worst thing you can possibly imagine, and if a lawyer putting their name to that level of claim isn't professional misconduct, it should be.

AI music is like AI everything else - soulless, uncanny, and totally devoid of anything beneath the surface. I'm reluctantly prepared to accept that for work stuff, but damned if I will for art. And that's leaving aside the people whose work has been stolen to generate the training data.
