Indeed. I wrote it in 2024 and the practice hotel ‘surge’ live on GB News was in 2023. As my neighbour put it ‘they can just roll this out anywhere’. It was also clearly a test of the police who the FR watch like hawks.

I despair at these responses to far right mobs descending on hotels. A few years ago when the far right were trialling this model they came to my community and scared the hell out of women and children in a hotel who had been air lifted from Afghanistan via operation Pitting. The thugs had signs..
