Remembering the time when I had cystitis when I was about 20 and my ex went to work and told everyone I had syphilis. His dad was in a senior position there. Apparently he looked horrified and, to reassure him, my ex said ‘don’t worry dad. They all get it.’

@lucynichol.bsky.social I read The 27 Club in two sittings, an amazing book! I loved the characters, the setting, the adventures/misadventures, and the treatment of MH was well handled and empathetic. A really engrossing book. I'll have to take a look at your other books :)

I've had to unfriend a few fans lately, all for the same reason. They made ridiculing, unkind, and in some cases outright cruel comments about pictures I posted of young women cosplaying Jessica.
More than a person, Jessica is a state of mind. To play Jessica, you need self -confidence, a sense of humor, and a Jessican -attitude-. There is no such thing as a Jessica cosplayer being too short, too flat chested, too heavy, too thin, too unattractive, too black, too Asian, or even too male!!!
