Great. Went out to get the paper in the wind and rain. Now it's calm and sunny.

I spent 8 years living in a village in the middle of nowhere not far from an immigration detention centre. On one evening I was locking up the pub (for clarity I worked there I hadn’t just broken into it) Two men appeared from the pub car park shadows. They were walking slowly towards me

It's grim up north - but a million quid might have helped a lot. #totp

I wrote something very personal and vulnerable about World Suicide Prevention Day on my Substack, and my experience with suicidal thoughts I decided that, however scary it feels writing it, if it helps one person it's worth it a million times over nadinebh.substack.com/p/its-world-...

It’s World Suicide Prevention Day, and we need to destigmatise talking about suicidal thoughts

Up to one in four of us will experience suicidal thoughts in our live times. We need to destigmatise talking about the issue - I should know, I live with suicidal thoughts myself.

Today is World Suicide Prevention Day. I've battled with my mental health for many years. Sometimes the doctors and helplines are good, sometimes not. But I've held on for those I love - the hard part is including me amongst them. I get it. I wrote a book about it. I'm glad you're still here x

I did my degree project on FM synthesis at roughly the same time as the DX7 was released. Just brand new sounds no-one had ever heard from a synth before. #totp

#ludwig - why the letter box squished format? About a quarter of my small TV screen is black bars, makes it tricky to get really involved. It's TV so should be 16:9 shurely?

@thedailytism.com Listen to "It's a Superpower??" on your favourite podcast thingies. The sound design is incredible. I mean, a lot of audio work has the effect/musak/etc muddying the voices. But this does all that in reverse by some kind of magick, you can hear everything spit/spot clearly. Wow.
