Sorry if I'm being annoying with all the pictures of this when all I did was take some rust off of all of it, and I'm definitely going to take a better picture when it's dark, but this is extremely my shit.

A photo of the same scene described below but this time the room is darkened and all three lanterns are lit. You can see several bold five-sided stars in otherwise delicate, more ornate patterns cast from the lanterns I had before on the white portion of my bathroom ceiling.

I'm about to take a bath to wash all of the rust off me and see how they work together, but so far, I love it. The rust really pulls the whole thing together, and I moved the smaller lantern to my little side cabinet to spread more light around.

Just soaked it in baking soda water to neutralize the acid. Then it will spend some quality time in front of a fan and get a final rub down to take any remaining residue off, but I don't think I'm going to take any more of the rust off.

One of my favorite things about cartoon colored hair is that if I let it ride long enough between recoloring, my executive function sometimes loops around to really cool results.

It may not feel like it today, but tis the season! They haven't had my go-to pain relief strains in stock for a long time, so I'm giving this a go. I'm just grateful to have a vape that is already labeled and very distinguishable from the rest of them. My own labeling system is not great!

Finch told me I was supposed to have a fancy shower today but I opted for a bath. I felt so silly wanting these lanterns so badly at the time, but they really do make me happy and feel cozy every time I light them up.

One of my favorite spots in River Falls. It's kind of an IYKYK place. I couldn't make the steep climb down or up so here's a photo my kid took.

A photo a lot of graffiti on the underside of a bridge with concrete supports. There is natural rock almost completely up to the bottom of the bridge with only like a 3-ft gap, so you have to duck down under each section of the bridge. The entire underside is covered in graffiti. Large tags, small marker graffiti, lots of this was there 15 years ago

Holy crap, it's #ThingThursday! I've been sitting on this one for about a week. An old friend of mine passed through town last week and very generously gifted me these two baskets that his mother made. Looking forward to finding the perfect spots and uses for them!

This van is in truly unbelievable shape for being almost 20 years old, and it was top of the line at the time. So many bells and whistles that will make it really comfortable for me! I feel so lucky. I'm really surprised that the red area on mine is so small, for a test that had my number. The second I told them I say bubbler, it sure is weird that the Madison area isn't a stronger red here!

A photo of what is actually a rather small and not very puffy cinnamon krispie. It is a long strip of puff pastry slathered in cinnamon, sugar and coiled in a very flat spiral. Toward the edge, They get puffier and crispier. This one is overworked and very clearly crusted with the kind of caramelized cinnamon sugar.

I love watching Roger explore the changes to his habitat when I change it up. The cholla is much sturdier this time, you can see him checking it and testing it by trying to wiggle it with his claws before trusting it.

A house for (my) Hermit Crab! I busted up his old cork tube because he's just been kind of shoving it around lately instead of hanging out inside of it and added that terracotta pot hide I made, and we are trying that cholla again, I dug it down deeper and anchored it better this time around.

A photo land hermit crab enclosure. You can see the sandy substrate is between 9 and 10" throughout, there is a freshwater pool with a bubbler in it in the far left front corner, right next to a saltwater pool that does not have a bubbler. Behind that is kind of a dark corner along a wall that is partially covered with cork and has a cork Branch sticking out, which then has a piece of sturdy Vine sticking out of it into the sand to climb up onto it. You can see the bottom of Roger's legs and his green shell at the very top edge in the back because he's on that cork bit. In the middle of the back wall is a portion of his old cork tube hide which I broke off to make kind of a tunnel. Back corner has a 6x8 in terracotta pot turned upside down with a doorway cut in it, with cork pieces and empty extra shells around it. There is a large piece of cholla reaching from the roof of the terracotta pot to the saltwater pool, and a couple of braided paracord climbing vines hanging from the ceiling. You can also see that I've given him fresh dead leaf he's got his green sand/cal and his food dish is right along the front wall with visible pieces of dried fruits, sun-dried, fish, etc. In it.

Ta-daaa! Made a new hide for Roger. Thought about putting a lot more effort into prettying up the edges, but Roger isn't going to care, and I sanded it down enough that it's not sharp.

An 8-in terracotta pot that's about 6 in tall flipped upside down, with a large arched doorway cut into the side of it to accommodate Roger, my jumbo sized hermit crab. It is being held up for the camera in my left hand

There is one northern pike with the light catching it just so that its fins are kind of lit up yellow. Spent a couple bucks on some black plastic switch plates to go behind the vintage wooden ones from @whinterqueen.bsky.social , and it does raise the profile of the whole operation a little more, but with slightly longer screws, they will work beautifully!
