Signed up for Printful this morning...I have an (empty) online store through Square, and a metric butt-ton of artwork that's sitting here collecting dust. Of course, that means I now need to go through all of that art, scan it, and make products with it. Good hobby for over the winter ;)

So I went to my first IPMS show today and placed 2nd in Sci-Fi with my Orca from @pipermakes.bsky.social and 1st in Gunpla with my Sinanju Encarmine builds. Also every single guy there was dressed like that Corvette owners meme (Except me I was wearing long pant) #nerdlings #plamo #gundam #warhammer

Here's a wraith lord that was missing many parts (thus damaged), which I replaced by kitbashing, sculpting and using supporting wire to hold it together. Ended up looking pretty good!

Wraith lord in bits. Missing the ankle and knee joint entirely and many other parts.

Sculpted a new knee for it, held together with wire internally.

Added these gun bits to the back of the feet to fill out the missing heels.

Finished! Painted with a bone colour on the armour, lots of weathering and a cool blue lighting effect on the sword.

A dark blue T'au crisis suit stands amid a ruined structure, it rests its left hand on part of a fallen tower, its right forearm wholly subsumed into an energy weapon. The blue of the mech is broken up with small patches of white and yellow, a single red panel denotes the cockpit hatch. 1/2 I think Zetas (and their ilk) are becoming my favorite MSes. Just a bit of colour-customizing on this kit, but also some new (to me) techniques. First is using graphite powder to do gun metal. Messy as hell, but works well. Still need to refine my approach. #gunpla #gundam #gunplacommunity

I finished the last of the Fates this week, and @lucidnonsense.org photographed them for me...he's brilliant behind the camera :) The busts are from #NErikson through #MyMiniFactory. Each took a few days to paint, and worth every second :) #Nerdlings #MiniPainting

Clotho, the youngest fate, the maiden. She is wearing a hooded green cloak partially covering her head and one side of her face, but her blonde hair and eye are visible. She is wearing an arm band and a jeweled shoulder drape. She sits on a decorative base.

Lachesis, the mother. She is wearing a gold mask covering the top of her face, and a green hooded cloak draped over her hair and attached to the green dress. The dress has a plunging neckline, and she wears a heavy jeweled necklace. She sits on a decorative base.

Atropos, the crone. She wears a bronze-and-gold headdress with balance bowls hanging on either side. A sheer cloth drapes over her face, hiding her features. Her green dress has a plunging neckline and decorative shoulder drapes. A pointed gold collar is around her neck. She sits on a decorative base.

And the three figures together. Clotho the maiden is in front. Behind and slightly to the right is Lachesis the mother. And to the left in the rear is Atropos, the crone (please see individual pictures for descriptions of each figure) All sit on pedestals that are painted black with dry-brushed bronze on Clotho, and gold for Lachesis and Atropos.

I took a phone photo of this test mini last night and ended up really liking the way it turned out, so I got the Canon out today and took a "proper" photo (read took 50 or so images while fiddling with the lighting and camera settings during downtime from work.) #warhammer #minipainting #nerdlings

Painted with bright red cloak, green skin and liquids in the vials. Some blue plasma osl on the weapon. Mix of metallics all over and a dusty red base.

Pray for me friends, after a few days of calibration and dialing in test prints on the two new printers, I'm running the first set of production proofs for the 1/144 TR6. It is two very full plates, and a lot can go wrong and I won't really know till 4-5 hours in (of a 17 hour print for plate B) x'D

I'm planning on painting this more like a large miniature instead of in a more traditional Gunpla style and I wanted to make sure that even if you manage to get a peek under the armor you won't see any of the original blue colour. Once I have locked the pose in he'll get a pink prime.

This dude Eyepatch Wolf spent over a dozen minutes talking about how much he enjoyed watching "original Gundam" only to reveal he was referring to Gundam Seed the whole time to Woolie(hates Gundam Seed). This is one of the most diabolical bits I've seen in a hot minute and I was dying of laughter.
