Today, in addition to editing more images, I'm also working on a planting guide for next year. Mostly because I wanted to make sure there was nothing other than the garlic I need to plant this fall. And maybe some bunching onions.

In better news, I'm burning up the word count on the novella. Glad I took the detour so I could get this new character written and out of my head. Now she can stop bothering me. And it gives me a chance to get a better name for Book 6's MC. #writer #writing

It was 80 yesterday. It's 60 today, and I feel cold. So I'm sitting under a snuggly blanket to write. Kinda like when it's snuggly blanket weather. Okay, if I were actually dressed in something other than shorts/tank top, I would not be cold. But where's the fun in that?

Work continues on the Imperial Fists Gustav Karl and while this isnt th emost significant part of the build I am very happy to have the first thing I modeled from scratch in Fusion finally painted. #gunpla #warhammer40k #nerdlings

A Space Marine Storm Bolter...but BIG! Scaled to fin on a large-ish 1/144 scale gunpla kit so getting close to 3 times the size of a 40K one. It is a large double barreled firearm with twin magazines with a cut out to show the shells. there is a winged skull on the side and where you would expect to see an iron sight is a camera lense.

Okay, this edible is kicking my ass completely. Tried a new troche from the dispensary. Didn't list the strain, but at this point, positive it's sativa. Because I usually only take indica, and never feel like this. Smallish dose though, so hopefully it fades.

Book 6 is starting out rough. And I realized why. Because I need a novella between books 5 and 6 to bridge the gap. I wasn't happy with the characters I chose to go west...and realized it was because I hadn't introduced the character that should be there. So...novella time.

Finally chopped, vacuum sealed, and froze the last batch of peppers we pulled in. Although the plants are inside to overwinter, I don't expect much from them, as I had to prune them pretty severely due to root shock (both are surviving and thriving now)

A brown bamboo cutting board with a bunch of partially cleaned peppers. There are both dark green jalapenos and lighter green banana peppers. In the background, a vegetable chopper is visible.

50 images edited (today was almost entirely correcting the angles, a touch of color correction, and saving for further work) I didn't get anything uploaded today. Honestly? Should have taken a day off since my mind is jelly right now, and I still need/want to write. Ride the hyperfixation!

And...185 greeting cards photographed. I'm going to be editing forever.

Today thus far has been spent scanning/photographing the last of the pictures to put up in the store. I don't know how many more today...but these are all greeting cards and I have a LOT of them. But about half as many as I remember having. Guess I sold more than I realized :)

030

Art of Lisa Morgan @artoflisamorgan.northsky.social · 09/10/2026

@lucidnonsense.org suggested setting up the camera and soft boxes to take pictures rather than scanning everything. I had the larger-sized images that I couldn't scan, so set up the camera today. 50 pictures later, and they're ready for editing. Oy, my brain.

040

Art of Lisa Morgan @artoflisamorgan.northsky.social · 08/10/2026

Another 22 images scanned. Not all of these are going to be available as prints: I'm going to be putting up originals too. And I have a lot. So, so many pictures.

030

Art of Lisa Morgan @artoflisamorgan.northsky.social · 08/10/2026

27 pictures scanned today. Now on to the editing! (I have probably 100 more pictures to scan, edit, upload, etc. Store's gonna be huge.

I'm getting a little hungry. I drank a protein shake when I got up, so I was thinking "Well, I can wait until around 3 a.m., and have my breakfast burrito." Then look at the clock and it's 2:55 a.m. Somewhere, I lost an hour (I was scanning/saving/editing and lost track of time)

030

Art of Lisa Morgan @artoflisamorgan.northsky.social · 08/10/2026

Another round of scanning. I got most of the pictures edited over the past two days. Not everything's uploaded yet, but it's easier to scan when nobody else is awake since I'm walking back-and-forth so much. I can edit later.

Currently going through all of the listings thus far to make minor corrections to the listings, add to the titles, and more. I have WAY too many items already, and more to go. And I haven't even started uploading the originals yet.

Okay, I made it to 900 words. More than I expected. Now, it's time to read a good book and fully relax :)

I have managed to write less than 200 words today. After a morning of working on the store, then taking son to a futile session at T-Mobile, and being exhausted. I don't feel too bad about it...I've done a lot today, and have a lot scheduled for tomorrow as well.

010

Art of Lisa Morgan @artoflisamorgan.northsky.social · 06/10/2026

Thankfully, hubby called T-Mo back, and spoke to someone who actually KNEW what they were doing. Apparently, he was never fully authenticated last night, which meant everything else was on hold until that was done. And this was supposed to be a light week!

Art of Lisa Morgan @artoflisamorgan.northsky.social · 06/10/2026

OMG Customer service at #t-mobile has gone straight downhill. Hubby called yesterday to release my son's line and authorize a change of financial responsibility. Was told it's all good, and son can go to the store and get the new phone he desperately needs. Nope. Have to call 611, because they

Damn...I forgot I have an entire selection of Pride Pups that I created a few years ago. They're already in PNG format, because I had them on a different POD site a long time ago. Now...they're back :) There are a number of different flags that will be available, as well as different dogs and cats.

Today, I have braved the delightful world of #Printful, and integrating it into my #Square store. It was HELL trying to remember which settings were where...but I think I have it mostly worked out? Guess I'll find out as I upload more images :)

36 pictures scanned in. Now to to a touch of editing (mostly for centering/orienting correctly) I have a LOT more to scan. But I have quite a bit to be going on with for now. Updates to follow :D

The problem with being fairly prolific as a watercolor artist (just simple things mostly) is when I want to open a print store, I need to scan everything. (not to mention trim for fit, etc) And then discovering 20 pictures in that I'm scanning on the wrong resolution.

Signed up for Printful this morning...I have an (empty) online store through Square, and a metric butt-ton of artwork that's sitting here collecting dust. Of course, that means I now need to go through all of that art, scan it, and make products with it. Good hobby for over the winter ;)

So I went to my first IPMS show today and placed 2nd in Sci-Fi with my Orca from @pipermakes.bsky.social and 1st in Gunpla with my Sinanju Encarmine builds. Also every single guy there was dressed like that Corvette owners meme (Except me I was wearing long pant) #nerdlings #plamo #gundam #warhammer

After all of the gardening on Sunday, I was aching badly yesterday. So I did very little other than get the lights suspended in the greenhouse. I didn't write. I just relaxed and read. Apparently, it was just what my body needed, because I felt so much better today :)

I am currently writing (on a pomodoro break, so can social media) Every part of me hurts. Shoveling and digging and gardening took a lot out of me. But damn, it feels good. But I foresee a heating pad in my near future.

I finished the last of the Fates this week, and @lucidnonsense.org photographed them for me...he's brilliant behind the camera :) The busts are from #NErikson through #MyMiniFactory. Each took a few days to paint, and worth every second :) #Nerdlings #MiniPainting

Clotho, the youngest fate, the maiden. She is wearing a hooded green cloak partially covering her head and one side of her face, but her blonde hair and eye are visible. She is wearing an arm band and a jeweled shoulder drape. She sits on a decorative base.

Lachesis, the mother. She is wearing a gold mask covering the top of her face, and a green hooded cloak draped over her hair and attached to the green dress. The dress has a plunging neckline, and she wears a heavy jeweled necklace. She sits on a decorative base.

Atropos, the crone. She wears a bronze-and-gold headdress with balance bowls hanging on either side. A sheer cloth drapes over her face, hiding her features. Her green dress has a plunging neckline and decorative shoulder drapes. A pointed gold collar is around her neck. She sits on a decorative base.

And the three figures together. Clotho the maiden is in front. Behind and slightly to the right is Lachesis the mother. And to the left in the rear is Atropos, the crone (please see individual pictures for descriptions of each figure) All sit on pedestals that are painted black with dry-brushed bronze on Clotho, and gold for Lachesis and Atropos.

I dug up and transplanted the pepper plants: one mammoth jalapeno, and the others are banana peppers. @lucidnonsense.org came out, and we ended up digging up the raised beds and repositioning them as well :D Now to plant a nice cover to amend the soil, and we're golden for the year. outside anyway.

I got new lights for the indoor growing area. Assembled them this morning and got two installed, but need an extension cord to plug them in. The others need cord to suspend them from the greenhouse peak. So not quite done yet, but a huge dent in progress.
