Those young MEN,the Cornell 7, KNEW what they were doing was wrong. I keep seeing vids of people saying we need to educate our growing boys about proper consent. OK, but these young MEN were educated, they knew... they just didn't care and didn't believe they'd be held accountable. Why is that?

September is Spinal Cord Injury Awareness month. Viable cures are slow in coming, too slow to help my nephew. I miss that kid so much. He had an accident at age 14, a football move gone wrong, then he lived 17 years as a quadriplegic. Before, he was tough Mr. Sports, After, he was suave Mr. Brains.

It's Caturday! My 75 year old spouse climbed 25' up a ladder to get Agnes down. They were both traumatized by this event. I hope it cures Agnes of her door dashing. She's been napping on Dad's pillow as a way to say thank you.

The iced coffee at an interview discourse is silly. Some people forget that the interview is/should be a two way conversation. Both parties should be checking to see it it's a good fit. As for me, if bringing in a small coffee or water is a disqualifier, it would not be a good fit. Wrong priorities.

Finally reached 3 years since the melanoma surgery, big milestone. I'm very grateful that there's been no more melanoma found. But damnitall, that wart on my hand I've been treating for months, is not a wart after all. Squamish cell carcinoma, very treatable, but damn, I'm tired of being cut.

I heard that 2000 ICE agents have been fired, because they couldn't pass the background check or were restricted by their records from carring a gun. Now, they must repay the 50K signing bonus and if they can't, their wages will be garnished until it's paid in full. 😅
