Tender Youth: Turning Torso - Album Review
Tender Youth return with their sophomore album, Turning Torso. The Copenhagen-based four-piece have built a reputation for intense, evocative and energetic live performances, touring extensively across Europe while developing a physical, theatrical strain of art rock that thrives on tension and experimentation. On Turning Torso, the band push that sound into unfamiliar territory, abandoning the guitar almost entirely in favour of violin, and opening up a new palette of distortion, texture and rhythmic possibility.
