liminal space gaming setup

A dim and eerie corner of a room with a gaming PC, a keyboard & mouse, and two monitors. One displaying the game Buckshot Roulette and the other isn't even plugged in. Cabling is strewn all across the floor. You can faintly hear the boss theme from Sonic CD (US).

Panel 4: The cat excitedly shows a present while I eagerly look.
Cat: "Merry catsmas!"

Panel 5: The eager look turns into one of disgust.

Panel 6: The cat, blissfully unaware, is just presenting a bug.
Me: "That's a cicada..."

I want to add my two cents to the Windows-to-Linux discourse but my experience was trying an Ubuntu dualboot several years ago and not liking it, taking a leap of faith a year or two ago wiping Windows for Pop!_OS, and then recently getting right into the nerd stuff with Arch lol

My advice thread for Windows users looking to switch to Linux: It's A LOT to get used to. Dual boot/install on a separate machine if you can and just mess around in Linux before you completely migrate over. Try out different distros (but read up a little, some are more user-involved than others)

The image shows oversimplified and idealised wings. Great for some fantasy settings but the bone structure is totally awry.

This image focuses on the leading edge of the wing - the propatagium. It's a membrane that fills the gap between the wrist and shoulder, creating a nice aerodynamic shape.

Final image shows skeletal schematic of the flying vertebrates forelimb: the bat, the bird, the pterosaur. With a funny comparison to the human hand.
