I think the salient insight for Bluesky is that the team running the place absolutely don't want to do community management because it's expensive to pay people to do hands-on work, and all their decisions are attempts to avoid having to do it with a safety kayfabe to appease media and regulators.

This is why I've always disagreed with the idea that "art" is purely subjectively defined. Art is a communication. The listener/viewer completes that communication in recieving it, but it is the intentionality of the creator that makes it art. "AI music" is no more music than traffic noise is.

This is identical to the way to write good first chapters. A first chapter has to set expectations for the reader and show your ability to deliver on your promises to them; it has to, in miniature, tell the reader what the story will be and reward their decision to start reading.

When queer and neurodivergent kids cut ties it wasn't a big issue because the parents could always say they kicked a 'fag' to the curb, but now 'normal' kids are cutting ties it's not so easy to play off. My hot take is it's way more interesting when the characters involved are objectively fucked up and have serious problems, but the romance that unfolds them ends up being sweet and elevates them. Maybe removing difficulty modes as a concept entirely and implementing un-opt-out-able 'challenge scaling' that algorithmically judges points of friction for players and tunes them down or up behind the scenes. Sell it as "Matching the challenge to the player." Add a NG+ mode with Challenge+.
