This is a far simpler answer than people would like to believe. Trump issues the order via the National Military Command Center to the commander of Strategic Command, and then STRATCOM carries it out directly. There is no second vote, no veto, no check-and-balance.

Who in the US #military built the plan that Trump says will take out every power plant and bridge in Iran tomorrow night? I know they fired all the JAGs specifically to enable this kind of thing, but YOU will still be responsible for #warcrimes. The Supreme Court didn’t give you immunity.

Reminder: All it would take to end the murder of American citizens by an untrained government goon squad is 16 Republicans in Congress voting with Dems to defund ICE (or 23 to impeach and remove Trump — 3 in House & 20 in Senate). That’s it. 23 Americans can vote for the public and end all of this.
