I actually genuinely think social media regulation is a good idea and is necessary but 1. age gating is an incredibly stupid way to do it and the "curfew" is the kind of policy so stupid it's actively insulting, 2. many of the people defending these measures are motivated by abhorrent politics

…some of this is just part of participating in web platform design, but in some cases it's a little unbalanced. Given the same resources, I think we'd be in a better place if Chrome was working on fewer features, but fully-baking them. I don't think it's on Mozilla to fix every half-baked proposal.
