More experiences from life under right-wing governments: during its term, the most right-wing government in Finnish history has greatly increased the purchasing power of the top earning deciles, while reducing it for the poorest. labore.fi/julkaisu/ost...
A graph showing change in purchasing power per income decile in Finland between 2023-2026. The poorest two deciles have seen their purchasing power fall; the richest decile has seen massive increases.

When President Trump saw only one set of footprints in the sand, that’s when Iran ended all deal negotiations.

BREAKING: Iran has completely ruled out any future negotiations with the Trump administration, declaring it will wait out Donald Trump's term until January 20, 2029, per Iranian outlets and Ghalibaf advisor's post.
"Trump will not reach an agreement with us. We will accompany him until his term ends," said Majid Shakeri, advisor to Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf.
He posted: "The path to victory is neither fighting nor a deal - it is managing the process of neither war nor peace, up to the point of victory. Publicly confirming negotiations with the U.S. is sheer folly.
The winning approach is denial, ambiguity, and strategic patience."
Iran's conditions remain unchanged: $300 billion in compensation, release of frozen assets, and withdrawal of U.S. forces. Until then, the Strait stays closed.

Imagine you're shrunk down to amoeba size & could observe a tiny plant root under the soil. The first thing you might notice is that the root isn't all plant cells. Both inside & outside the root are symbiotic fungal cells (grey in photo) in close association, working together. (🔬:Eye of Science)
It looks like giant dried cells with visible cell walls in brown and yellow, with green phloem tissue, but the grey stuff, which looks all sort of wispy and tangled, are the fungal cells that are in partnership.

Africa is BIG
An infographic showing the true size of Africa (30.4m km²) compared to other major countries and regions. Six maps overlay different regions on Africa's outline to demonstrate scale: Russia (17.1m km²), U.S. (9.8m km²), China (9.6m km²), Brazil (8.5m km²), Europe excluding Russia (5.9m km²), and India (3.3m km²). Each comparison is color-coded and labeled with its area.

It’s a mistake to think that Trump’s discard for the rules-based order is good for the revanchist Russian regime (or for China for that matter). Having predictable rules enabled Russia to break them when it saw fit - or occasionally, to invoke them. Having no rules to break is a disadvantage.
