of the bathing chamber. Impossible, impossible. There's witchcraft and then there's-this, whatever this is. He stands in the middle of the bedroom with an itch between his shoulderblades, a months-old instinct to be watchful, be wary, be—
"Hyung," Jungkook says, reaching for him, and he flinches for the
barest second before letting Jungkook take his hand. "Hyung," he says again, sadder.
"I'm alright," he deflects. "It's just-"
He can't even gather the words for it. This has been months of his
life. Years of it, if he's being honest; ever since he'd been old enough to understand the immensity of the curse, he's been seeking some way to break it. Now he's here at the end of the road, and it's all just - strange. So strange.
And so familiar too. Beneath the strangeness it's him and Jungkook and the gratitude of a momentary shelter from the cold, and he knows that intimately, knows it as well as he knows himself. It's too big and too small at the same time, and he doesn't know what to do with it all.
He just-doesn't know what to do.
"I'm alright," he says again, meaning it more this time. It's
ridiculous to fall apart now when they've come this far.
"You're alright," Jungkook agrees quietly. "We're alright." He hesitates, searching Jimin's face. Jimin can't tell what he's looking for. He had no idea what his face is doing. "We're meant to be here."
"Both of us?" Jimin asks, dry and doubtful and more afraid than he'd care to admit. He'd thought he was past this, the knowledge that he isn't magic, that the only thing he has to give is his stubbornness and himself. Jungkook takes his other hand and draws him forward, pressing their foreheads together.
"Yeah. Hyung, listen. Can't you feel it?"

A special #WIPwednesday for As Your Shadow Crosses Mine. I know that the story is currently at the midpoint and you’ve all been waiting patiently forever 🥺 so here’s a sneak peek at what’s to come in the epilogue. #jikookau

Sometimes when Jimin returns after a long trip, particularly when it is hard, when Jimin gets into bed he immediately rolls onto Jungkook. Jungkook makes space for him, even as he’s still drowsy and his limbs slow, letting Jimin press him into the bed and scent him thoroughly.

It’s what Jimin needs after a long absence. What he needs.

Jimin mouths at his throat—Jungkook’s breath still catches everytime—and slips his hands underneath his sleep shirt, skimming along searching for every bit of bare skin, grazing at his nipples.

He undresses them just enough, as if he’s too impatient, until their lengths are aligned and then he would fist them both. Jungkook helps, his hand over Jimin’s.

Jungkook usually comes first, panting and overwhelmed.

And then Jimin would rise to his knees and jerk off in earnest, his wolf eyes on him, predatory and hungry, until he spills onto Jungkook’s belly, painting his skin with both their come.

Sometimes Jimin would drag a hand through the mess and rub it in. Jungkook supposes it must be a mark of some kind, based on the way that Jimin’s eyes darken as he works until he’s satisfied.

And sometimes Jimin moves down him, using his tongue to clean it all up, and then he would drape himself back over Jungkook to kiss him. Jungkook moans into the kiss, taking everything that Jimin feeds him, their come viscous and salty, Jimin’s tongue wrapping around his, being embraced inside and out.

Jimin would then scent him, marks his neck with a chain of open mouthed kisses and hickeys. Then he would curl up around Jungkook, sated and satisfied.

But sometimes, when it’s been a long, hard time away, he leans his forehead against his and just shudders and breathes. In and out, in and out, like he needs to fill his lungs full of him, over and over.

Jungkook doesn’t know what to do in these times, but he thinks he understands. He wraps his arms around him and waits until his breaths even and he could coax Jimin to kiss him again, unhurried and indulgent, as their breaths slow and they fall asleep entangled together and everything is okay.

Not only is Min Yoongi competent and unfortunately hot, but worst of all, he seems to always be one step ahead of Seokjin. Did I ever share this for AYSCM for #WIPwednesday ? 🍬

As they enter the house, Jimin freezes. He’s staring at their blanket fort in the corner, nostrils flaring as if he’s scenting the air.

“Appa, isn’t it cool?” Lily gushes as she jumps into it face-first, scattering the pillows all over the place.

They’ve been playing and sleeping in it, so much so that Jungkook completely forgot about how utterly unnatural and disgusting it should be for him to even think about touching Jimin’s bedding. Every night Lily rearranges them just so before she finally deems the fort acceptable, crawling into the snug space and asking for her bedtime story. The white fur—the very thing that Jungkook had accused Jimin of using to mark him as his possession with his scent—is lying prominently in the very middle.

Now, memories of that night flash through his mind: the anger, the yelling, Jimin’s hold on him, and then… Jungkook’s mouth goes dry and his hands twitch.

“Appa?”

Jimin seems to jolt to life at her quiet question, taking in a sharp breath of air like he had stopped breathing. He crosses the room and pauses at the low table by the edge of the blankets. “What a beautiful nest. May I come in?”

Lily holds her head high, proud as she nods. “Yes, you may enter.”
