Seokjin wonders if his loneliness has also been so visible, or if Taehyung is just the first person to ever look closely enough at him to see it. Or if maybe it's just gotten worse lately. Much as he tries to fill his days with service, it's become more and more difficult to ignore the lack of connection he has with other people. And as much as he hates to think it...he needs more than silent conversations with God.

He has his routine, and he clings to it with ferocity. It's one of the only ways he feels grounded in his existence. But he finds that, given the right incentive, he's more than willing to make some adjustments.

Taehyung has somehow wormed his way into Seokjin's weeks, constantly sending him texts about getting dinner or meeting up to wander downtown. He almost worries that Taehyung is teasing him, that he just wants to see how pathetically gullible Seokjin is to the slightest promise of friendship, but he always follows through on their plans.

Seokjin also wonders if, in a world where he had to be good simply for the sake of it, he'd see a lonely soul and handle it gently. Or would he turn his gaze, discarding damaged goods like the expired cans in the church food pantry? Without the promise of heavenly reward (or perhaps, the threat of hell's punishment), would his goodness evaporate, leaving only his selfish soul?

Most of all, he wonders if, in another universe, he could have been good like Taehyung.

Text of prompt: Captain Namjoon has traveled space and visited many different planets with his crew during the years, but for his next mission he runs into a problem he hasn't encountered before: the planet inhabited by feline hybrids doesn't allow human species to enter, and no matter how hard Namjoon tries to explain it's crucial for the mission, his landing permit is denied.

Cat hybrid Yoongi, who has been a part of Namjoon's crew since the beginning, finally finds a solution: they will pretend Yoongi is the owner of the spaceship and Namjoon is his companion because as a feline hybrid Yoongi is allowed to come and go as he pleases. They make an agreement that in public Namjoon is to wear a collar and not utter a single word while Yoongi is to be the one to take care of all the talking, diplomatic or not, otherwise the risk of their plot being revealed becomes too big.

Yoongi never calls him a pet, but as days go by in the feline planet, getting hand fed and sitting at Yoongi's feet in a pretty collar, Namjoon begins to discover new sides of himself, also when he's being alone with Yoongi in their private time...

It's not like Seokjin to be distracted during service; the rhythm of hymns, scripture, and sermon is as ingrained in him as breathing, but there is always something new to learn. The Lord's word is a lifetime study, after all.

It's an unusual time for a newcomer at this church; maybe that's it. He'll make a point of introducing himself at the end of the service. He remembers how awkward he felt joining a new church, trying to figure out which pew wouldn't be claimed and who seemed friendly enough to strike up conversation with. Thankfully, he joined at the typical time around the start of school, so there were plenty of freshmen in the same boat.

When the postlude finally begins, Seokjin tries not to rush down the aisle, not wanting to miss his chance to welcome the man. He shouldn't have worried, because he's still seated in the back row once Seokjin reaches him.

"Hello," Seokjin says, feeling flustered for no discernable reason. "I haven't seen you here before."
"No, I don't really believe in God," the man says, glancing around.

Seokjin tries to conceal his horror. He doesn't believe in God? But surely he wants to, why else would he be in church? Maybe he just needs a bit of spiritual guidance...

"Angels, though. I believe in those," the man says, a slight smirk on his lips.
"Oh...well, that's a start, I suppose," Seokjin says, utterly confounded.
"So, angel. What's your name?" the man asks. "I'm Taehyung."

This album celebrates being a 22 year old girl. There comes a lot of distrust w being a young woman. We are often portrayed as irrational, hormonal, too expressive, harsh, over the top, too loud... Funnily enough... I think those qualities make for some of the best art. Hence, this record is a reflection of excactly that!! Sometimes I'n really cocky and compare myself to one of the brightest shining movie stars to ever live, other times I feel like shit and compare myself to a beaten up shoe. Sometimes
I wanna fuck, other times I feel really weird abont sex and wite a powerful ballad and name it after a (crossed out) vibrator, cause it makes me giggle. Sometimes I write about my broke ex and how he gave good head. Sometimes I write about needing to feel loved. Or cry over my family situation over some hard tune.
I made it a point to allow myself to do these things no matter how others might perceive them. Alas... now it's time…to be perceived... 4 it all :) <3

made my first shadow box with most of my chicago freebies. i’m going to make the rest into magnets 🤭 i was so happy to find another crochet army and get my own tiny purple whale!
