Hey, why is ALT text not appearing on quoted posts since this update? Major accessibility failure, guys. We need to be able to see ALT text more than we need a scrolling carousel with 10 images. If you wanna be so proud of your new feature, maybe make sure it won't break functions before release.

Have you been looking for a spooky podcast episode that you can play along with?? Probably not, but we made one anyway! 😂 Dice, journals, suspension of disbelief, and whimsy (with a capital WHIM) at the ready; we're going on a weird, imaginary adventure and we're taking you all along for the ride!
A titlecard for a podcast episode. The text reads: Knock Once for Yes Episode 85 Haunted Road Trip: Choose your own adventure. The photo background is shot from a car and shows a 'through the windscreen' view of a country road passing through English moorland. A heavy mist blankets the landscape, obscuring all features on the horizon in a white blur. A single car approaches on the opposite side of the road, headlights glowing warmly in the dull light of a foggy day.

Yes it could be argued that keeping up with world events is important but alternatively can I interest you in hugging an ancient mossy boulder that looks like a face and quietly listening while it tells you stories from centuries cloaked in mist.
A lovely mossy boulder with a face. I walked past this venerable stone gentleman on Dartmoor when I was beginning to write my first novel, Villager, and it whispered all 104,000 words of the book to me. So now I have to pay it all of my royalties. Unfortunately my ex-publisher stopped paying me royalties last year. Understandable, the boulder was not happy. But now I have a new publisher and the book has been republished. So remember if you purchase a copy you will be helping a boulder to eat, pay the rent on his riverside moss garden, and feed his boulder family.

Take down bird feeders this summer to cut spread of avian disease, says RSPB
Charity advises replacing seed and nut feeders, where birds gather, with small amounts of mealworms, fat balls or suet Garden birds should not be fed seeds and nuts over the summer months, the RSPB has said, in an attempt to reduce the spread of avian diseases. Bird lovers are being urged to take down their bird feeders between May and October to help birds such as the greenfinch, whose numbers have plummeted after the spread of trichomonosis, a parasitic disease transmitted more easily when birds cluster around feeders in the warmer months. It might not be an obvious first choice for a still-coviding holiday, but actually, a Haven Holiday Park worked really well for us. We needed somewhere CHEAP and had the ability to go out of season. Their 2nd week of opening, it was almost deserted, check in/out was drive-through (cont in comments)
A sunrise over a beach. The sun just peeks over the sea, a glowing orb of red that paints the horizon in stripes of orange and pink. Through a gap in large tufts of marram grass on a sandy path, we see the orange reflection of the sun's light glittering on a calm, pale blue sea.

Timeline cleanse. ....and breathe.
A deserted beach early in the morning. A mist hangs over a blue-grey sea and the low morning sun tries to burn through the haze. Sand dunes thick with marram grass run behind the strip of pale golden sand still exposed at high tide, protected by a concrete sea defence wall.

From the depths of my soul ... yes, one thousand percent this.
Text reads: there's laundry to do and a genocide to stop. I have to eat better and also avoid a plague. my rent went up $150. I'll need to pick up more shifts. Twenty people died in Rafah this morning and every major news outlet is stretching the limits of passive voice to suggest whole families may have leaped up through the air at missiles that otherwise had the right of way. I just got a notification that my student loan payments are starting up again and my phone isn't charged. My cousin got COVID for a fourth time and can no longer work or walk or even feed himself. The person across from me on the L train seems to fashion themself a punk rock revolutionary, but they're not wearing a face mask, and that's the kind of cognitive dissonance that makes me want to steal batteries. Fascists keep winning primaries for both parties, and I think I gained a few pounds. The CDC just announced there are no more speed limits on highways, and I think this Ativan is finally hitting. The NYPD farmer's market only sells bad apples, have you heard that one? Listen it's warm today, too warm for March. But I don't have time to think through the implications because there's laundry to do and a genocide to stop.
