The last time I read the local newspaper’s website, they put in a pop ad for a car dealership that had a car drive left to right to left and back again across the page before you could close it. Message was that they think that little of their own writing that they don’t care if you can read it.

I agree, and I think the idea that bi men will secretly infect them with HIV or other STIs from the men they’re unable to stop themselves from having sex with is a pretty common way for stereotypes about bi men being dirty and untrustworthy to be reinforced.

No one from Amtrak or any other agency ever contacted me about it, and while I was able to ride home (without my tail light, which the thief simply destroyed taking the bag off), it makes me pretty reluctant to gamble on what parts of my bike will be damaged next time I park it there.

Yeah, my bike wasn’t stolen at my local Amtrak station, but someone cut a bag off of my back rack, dumped out most of my stuff, then stole the bag. I‘m sure it didn’t help that the train was 4 hours late. Happened right under a security camera, 30 feet from the main door.

Yeah, the lidocaine goes on first. I found it to be a pretty minor benefit, even with sticking plastic wrap on my face over it. As far as pain goes, at least laser makes electrolysis easier by making the hairs thinner and the root of the hair smaller (is what electrolygists have told me).

The jamming was happening, but it shouldn't have mattered: pilots were publicly warned about the jamming, if the pilots weren't capable of landing there while jamming was happening, they shouldn't have flown, and their dispatcher should not have sent them.

Right?? The Russian military showed up in Ukraine’s capital city with secret police squads and lists of journalists, academics, queer people, and politicians to start killing. They’re stealing children. They’re building apartments on top of Ukrainian cities. My concern here is not for Russia.
