I get this stupid smile whenever I think of Klapka because I have this core memory of Excelblem's exasperation of not enjoying the pet name of "The Klapper"

It's nice that Fortune's Weave is as popular as it is versus Engage mostly flying only within the FE fandom. Seeing so much hype over Guzran, the memes between the different flame lords. Long gone are the days of when FE was really only known for Blue Sword and Red Sword in Smash Melee.

It's actually incredibly funny that chocolate tastes better outside of America because they legally have to put more chocolate in it than American companies are required to have. It sounds like a joke about American food products but it actually is just the truth

Today's musing is brought to you by Pokemon, namely that every so often I try to think of a Pokemon that I resonate as being *me* and coming up short. Heck I could hardly think of an animal I'm similar to.

I did this a while back for an anime Discord I lurk in, a very real conversation I had with myself was "I really shouldn't make a third of this list Watanabe works, but Cowboy Bebop is up there for me, and Carole and Tuesday was neat too..."

A phenomenon I catch myself doing's that I actually don't feel confident expressing something's quality unless I get a second opinion on my feelings. Its easier for me to sell something is OK so that way I can be spared if someone doesn't like it, or surprised if someone does share my true thoughts.

I can't believe Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave has been available for 2 days and Excelblem, this mad lad, had skipped to the third act and beaten it. If anyone in the FEtubing community could be called powerful its him.

Undertale monsters did not initially turn to dust upon being slain, but would instead be sent to an optional trophy room. This feature was short lived, as playtesters spent hours obsessively examining their "fine specimens".

Don't fall for astroterfing, Seeing a lots of obvious bad takes on animation, especially indie animation, to gin up "debate" that reads more like angry hornets nest stirrings. The impact will be less indie animation from anybody and less interesting animation coming out period. youtu.be/UBXo2x_qeTc

I think it goes deeper than Smash into just consumption as a whole, where when a game comes out, fans of it immediately upon beating it go, “Can’t wait for the sequel that will add more to this.” When that’s not a given anymore from the heyday of the NES era.

Star Guardian: Guardian of the Stars! Aika and Hoshi drawing for the day💫😎 #pppidwtbamg #art

Aika and Hoshi drawing. Aika is holding a lead pipe while in her magical girl form. The background is a bunch of stars and light beaming out from the jewel on her chest. The text reads "Aika + Hoshi" and "Pretty Pretty Please". The line border effect in CSP cooked here🔥

There's something very very cool happening here. I really like when the magical girl transformation, or really any transformation, causes a change in behavior. Either through possession by a higher power or simply not liking what it transforms you into. Something you don't want the world to see is now on full display.

So when I originally saw a clip of Aika breaking some dude's (Eclipse's) legs with a lead pipe I was like, "oh sht, this is different lmaoo" and watched episode 1 immediately. She's had this power for a while now and things used to be, at least from Kiana Mai's drawings of her, cheery and happy-go-lucky. But now she's got that taste in her mouth of what working at a dead end job for 2+ years feels like. Mad relatable fr. Shows how the transformation doesn't have to always be as excitable to the character as it is to the audience. I'm waiting to see if it was just one event that caused this change in demeanor or if it was just a slow burn into burnout, but as for now I am taking notes expeditiously.👁️

Morale can literally determine the result of actual battles in a war where people’s lives are on the line. Why would you think that morale wouldn’t affect the result of an election, knowing that? If you want to win an election, part of your job is to keep morale high among your supporters.

Its so important to be willing to discuss and engage your interests, but surround yourself with people who encourage that as well. Its so easy to get lost staring at a tree versus the wider forest. How the trees may frame things, the critters who live in it, etc.

The chocobo then also goes on the Aerith date, she has fun but the chocobo is looking tired
Meanwhile Cloud chills on the beach with sunglasses and a soda and comix
